On Wednesday, June 3rd, The Osvita Foundation Incorporated is sponsoring its Annual Testimonial Dinner at which time it recognizes individuals for their outstanding community service, charitable contributions and for enhancing and supporting the promotion of Ukrainian language, culture and history.

The Osvita Foundation Inc. was established in 1982 as a charitable organization and is committed to supporting excellence in education through the promotion of the English Ukrainian Bilingual Program (EUBP) and Manitoba Parents for Ukrainian Education.

At this year’s testimonial dinner the Osvita Foundation is pleased to honour The Olexander Koshetz Choir in recognition of its 70th anniversary. The Olexander Koshetz Choir of Winnipeg is a unique Ukrainian Canadian cultural institution. For over 70 years, this choir has been a highly successful vehicle for showcasing and propagating the rich Ukrainian choral tradition in Canada and in other parts of the world. From its beginnings, the choir has been a conscious musical ambassador. Its sense of mission has focused on the fostering of Ukrainian national consciousness and the promotion of Ukrainian choral music, culture and language. These objectives have been reflected in the choir's rich repertoire which effectively combines the wide range of Ukrainian choral music including folk, ritualistic, liturgical and classical.

The Board of Directors of the Osvita Foundation invites you

to join us in honouring

The Olexander Koshetz Choir on June 3rd at Canad Inns Polo Park.

Please find enclosed a ticket order form which you may use to purchase your ticket and reserve your place at our 2015 Testimonial Dinner. Tickets may also be purchased at our office, 1215-F Henderson Highway by calling in advance.
