Our sincere condolences on the passing of Dr. Borislaw Nicholas Bilash

The Osvita Foundation and Manitoba Parents for Ukrainian Education express our sincere condolences at the passing of Dr. Borislaw Nicholas Bilash.

Dr. Bilash was a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He was an educator and an accomplished author, who was known to be an expert on the topic of English-Ukrainian Bilingual Schooling, as it existed in Manitoba public schools from 1897 to 1916.

In 2008, The Osvita Foundation was proud to honor Dr. Bilash at the annual Testimonial Banquet, to recognize his many contributions to the promotion and preservation of Ukrainian language and culture in Manitoba.
