Manitoba Hydro Santa Claus Parade 2026

Saturday, November 14, 2026

Arrive at 3:30 PM         Parade starts at 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

It is with great excitement that Manitoba Parents for Ukrainian Education (MPUE) announces that the English-Ukrainian Bilingual Program will be a participant in the Manitoba Hydro Santa Claus Parade this year with our Parade Float – Rukavytsya Brought to Life! (Based on the Ukrainian folktale -The Mitten).

This special float provides an opportunity for children and parents to participate in the Santa Claus parade and promotes our English-Ukrainian Bilingual Program to thousands of spectators. Students from the English-Ukrainian Bilingual Program and their parents who are registered to participate will walk alongside the float. Some children will be able to dress up in animal character costumes from the story, which MPUE will provide.

Children must be accompanied by a parent/guradian at all times. Registered participants will walk along the route of the parade and wave Ukrainian flags to the onlookers, as well as sing along with the carols being played on the float.
