On Wednesday March 9th,  #YouthStandWithUkraine.

MPUE in partnership with the Ukrainian Canadian Students Union (SUSK) have launched an initiative to amplify the voices of youth.  Students are encouraged to create a sunflower art piece, put it up on display and snap a photo to share on social media with the hashtag #YouthStandWithUkraine. 

Use the hashtag #YouthStandWithUkraine to share what you have been working on to support Ukraine, and @susknational will be reposting and sharing to amplify youth voices across the country, and the diaspora. 

EUBP schools across the Province continue to participate in activities to speak to peace in Ukraine. Students at Smith-Jackson Ukrainian Bilingual School in Dauphin put their love for Ukraine on display with a large heart on the playground fence.

On February 25th, staff and students at every school in the Seven Oaks School Division were encouraged to show their support for Ukraine by wearing blue and yellow clothing or traditional Vyshyvanka (Ukrainian cross-stitched) shirts.  CBC News came to speak to administration, teachers and students at Shkola RF Morrison.   Click here to see the footage.
